Welcome to the Florida Panhandle's premier natural paradise, the Apalachicola Area, where Nature reigns and the environment still is pristine. We hope you will choose to experience the natural beauty and the marine and bird wildlife of the Forgotten Coast's inland and coastal waterways up close from the comfort of one of our curise boats. Our inland cruise explores the Apalachicola River's subtropical swamps and marshes, while the coastal cruise explores Apalachicola Bay, its barrier islands and Gulf of Mexico waters just off the islands.
Our Cruise boats the Eco Explorer, a spacious and stable power catamaran, and our fast Sea Ray boat, Bad Company meet all safety requirements of the US Coast Guard for Commercial Passenger Vessels permitted to carry up to 6 passengers and are equipped with a marine toilet. The Eco Explorer is docked in Apalachicola at the Scipio Creek Marina, 301 Market Street. The Bad Company is dry-docked on St. George Island for faster access to the islands, bay and Gulf of Mexico. It also has a nice sound system if you want to listen to some music and hand-held showers to rinse off with, as well as reclined seats for sunbathing. Both boats have covered tops if you need to stay out of the sun or weather.
With no more than six passengers on board at a time, this promotes an informal conversational atmosphere as Capt. Walt points out the natural and historical points of interest.
Picturesque Apalachicola is on the doorstep of both River and Bay Ecosystems -- each distinctive, each unspoiled. We will briefly sketch the rich history and the fishing heritage of Apalachicola as we cruise through the harbor to share Nature with you.
